Residents in Kings Langley have been warned by police to be extra vigilant about their vehicle’s safety after a theft from a road in the heart of the village.
Between 7am and 7pm on Friday, September 22, a red Peugeot 208 was stolen from The Nap Parking car park, located just off of Kings Langley’s High Street.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information, or if you have captured any relevant footage on your CCTV or doorbell camera, to get in touch via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/76132/23.
Alternatively, you can give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Police have also given residents tips on how to ensure they themselves don’t become the next victims of this kind of crime.
When leaving your car, ensure that all of the doors and windows are locked, and to always remove your car keys, even when carrying out a short errand.
Never leave any kind of valuables in your vehicle, not even inside the glove box or the boot. Store the car ownership documents at home and secure your number plates with anti-theft screws.
