Police investigating the theft of a vehicle in Bushey Heath are releasing an image of the car in hope of locating it and identifying those responsible for stealing it.
The gold Ford Escort was stolen at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, March 3, from the Elstree Road Garage. The car, which had no fuel in it at the time, was pushed away by three people in the direction of the A41 in Bushey. Police Community Support Officer Callum Ellis is investigating the theft and said: “The car is extremely distinctive and would have stood out in people’s minds, particularly if they saw it being pushed. “I would urge anyone who saw the incident, or has seen the vehicle since it was stolen, to contact me a soon as possible via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J2/15/233.” Alternatively people can contact Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through the secure online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
