After their two previous wins, Kings Langley FC left Raymond McEnhill Stadium empty handed, losing 2-1 to Salisbury FC today (November 9).
It was a slow start to the game but Salisbury FC showed their dominance against the Lango, scoring their first goal within 30 minutes.
However, the home team didn’t have much time to celebrate as The Lango’s Mitchell Weiss scored his first goal of the match into the far corner of the net just minutes after.
It was all square as the teams went back to the dressing rooms during half time.
As the second half started, The Lango’s Kane Farrell was cautioned by the referee with a yellow card.
In minute 61, Salisbury FC scored their second and final goal, and even after a few substitutions from Kings Langley FC, it wasn’t enough to get them back in the game.
Four minutes were added to the game and both Stevie Ward and Mitchell Weiss were given yellow cards.
Kings Langley FC are currently positioned 14th in the league table. The team are next playing away in Suffolk on November 12 against Lowestoft Town FC.
