The driver failed to stop and fled the scene in his vehicle, colliding with two officers in the process.

They have suffered cuts and bruises as a result but are not seriously injured.

The driver ran from the car but was quickly detained by officers.

After searching the vehicle, officers recovered £2,000 in cash.

A 26-year-old man from Harrow has been arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive through drink/drugs, dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and assault on a police constable.

He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
