COVID-19 has claimed the lives of at least 11 people in the Radlett and Shenley, according to the Office of National Statistics (ONS).
ONS’ interactive map shows the number of deaths in different areas between March 1 and April 17.
The map shows that there were eight confirmed deaths in Radlett and three in Shenley.
In comparison, a combined total of 28 people died between those dates in Borehamwood Cowley Hill, Borehamwood Kenilworth, Borehamwood Brookmeadow and Borehamwood Hillside combined. Ten people also died in Elstree.
90,232 people died in England and Wales between March 1 and April 17, of which 20,283 were from coronavirus.
The coronavirus was first confirmed in the UK at the end of January, but the number of daily confirmed cases and related deaths only began to increase significantly mid-late March.
At the time of writing, the UK now has the highest official death toll in Europe and the second highest in the world.
