TRAFFIC UPDATE: Reports of person trapped in vehicle following M1 crash near Watford

Two lanes have been closed northbound on M1 between J4 Elstree and J5 Watford following a multi-vehicle collision.

There were also reports that a person was trapped inside one of the vehicles, with National Highways confirming that Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue were in attendance at the scene.

Long delays between 60 and 70 minutes are expected.
