Roads in Radlett were closed by Police yesterday (Saturday, March 19) after a serious traffic incident involving a car and pedestrian.
A male pedestrian was taken to hospital after a road traffic collision with a car at around 1pm on Watling Street. Road closures were put in place whilst police and ambulance services attended the scene.
Roads were closed at the junctions with Allum Lane and Loom Lane and Butterfly Lane at the junction with Aldenham Road.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police confirmed: “Police were called at 1.20pm yesterday (Saturday, March 19) to reports of a road traffic collision on Watling Street in Radlett.
“A pedestrian and a white Seat had been in collision.
“Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service, as well as the air ambulance, attended and the male pedestrian was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
“Surrounding roads were closed while emergency services worked at the scene.”
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101 quoting ISR 338 of 19 March.
