The two GP surgeries located in Croxley have had a positive response from patients in the recent NHS GP Patient Survey.

A total of 85 per cent of patients at New Road Surgery rated their overall experience as good, while 83 per cent of patients rated their experience at Baldwins Lane Surgery as good.

These ratings were both above the national average, which is 71 per cent.

In fact, New Road Surgery scored higher than the national average in every question on the survey. A total of 60 per cent of patients stated they found it easy to get through to the surgery on the phone, compared with the national average of 50 per cent.

The surgery also scored high for the appointment times that are available, and whether or not respondents were offered a choice of appointment when they last tried to make one.

At Baldwins Lane Surgery, a total of 74 per cent of respondents said they found it easy to get through to the surgery on the phone.

A spokesperson for New Road Surgery said: “We are always striving to deliver the highest quality healthcare to our community. We value patient feedback and are encouraging our patients to attend our next Patient Participation Group meeting from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, September 19, at New Road Surgery.”

Baldwins Lane Surgery has been contacted for comment.
