A popular dance school in Bushey has made a highly anticipated return to the stage after more than two years, performing four sold out dance shows for charity at The Radlett Centre.
Vanessa Class School of Dance performed from March 19 to March 21, raising an impressive £7,000 for two children’s charities, Rays of Sunshine and Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG).
Vanessa Class told MyLocalNews: “After two years of no shows we were back with a bang and wow the shows were absolutely amazing.
“All the kids were desperate to get out there and perform. They’ve gone from doing classes on Zoom during lockdown to getting back out there performing on stage and they absolutely loved it. Everyone got to perform in at least two numbers if not more.
“It was like a proper West End show, I can’t tell you the amount of messages I had from parents telling me that it was phenomenal and extra special this year after the lockdowns. The talent in the kids is incredible.”
Members of the dance school aged two to 25 took part in the string of sold out performances, which were a celebration showcasing talent whilst raising thousands of pounds for two important charities.
The dance school has been raising money for charity through performance for more than 20 years, raising more than £250,000 for important causes in that time.
