A business from Kings Langley has come second for an award at the highly prestigious British Wedding Awards 2019.

Three Piece Bar which was co-founded by Alex Legret and Daniel Twine, who are both extremely proud to finish second in the ‘Finishing Touches’ category.

When speaking to MyKingsNews, Alex said: “It’s a brilliant achievement. I am amazed that we are recognised by such a brilliant company. It was amazing to be acknowledged across the board, it feels great.”

Alex, who has a wealth of experience in hospitality from working in pubs, clubs and student bars, started up the business with Daniel because he thought Hertfordshire lacked a quality drinks service.

Alongside the highly recommended mobile cocktail bar service they provide for weddings, birthdays and other events, Alex was delighted to announce that the boys were expanding the business and opening up a cocktail bar in Hertfordshire.

He said: “Business is really good at the minute. We are venturing out and are opening our very own coffee and cocktail shop/bar around May, June time.

“This was meant to happen in two years but we got the opportunity to bring it forward to this year and we jumped at the chance. We are really excited.”

As a thank you for everyone who voted, Alex has said everyone will be invited to the opening of the bar for a drink on them.

He added: “We are a small company so for us to be recognised at such a big event is down to all the people that took the time out to vote.

“We can’t thank everyone enough. At the opening of the bar, we are going to do a crowd funder to give people a discounted offer and everyone can have a drink on us to say thank you.”

For more information about the grand opening of the bar, updates will be posted on its Facebook page, Three Piece Bar.
