A business from Kings Langley has been nominated for an award at The British Wedding Awards 2019.
Alex Legret and Daniel Twine were picked in the British Newcomer category for their mobile cocktail bar service Three Piece Bar.
Alex told KINGSnews: “I’m chuffed that we’ve been recognised. We did an advertorial for the Wedding Ideas Magazine in October about a Mr and Mrs cocktail theme personalising drinks.
“It’s a memory of something that is special to the bride and groom and it is very Instagramable. It’s a fun way to celebrate the day, they’re a party staple for a reason.”
Three Piece Bar provide events for weddings, birthday parties and corporate events which has grown in popularity since the business started in December 2016.
Family, friends and previous customers have been voting for Alex and Daniel who met whilst at a bar in Leeds when studying at university.
The wedding season is quieter over the winter period but Alex said they are still busy.
He added: “You get the people that don’t mind weddings in October and November but most people are in planning stages at the moment.
“We’re currently in talks with a couple to install a 4m high, 360 degree bar with mirrors. We turn up and specifically do cocktails but most of the time the venues don’t have a bar so we might offer special beers and other drinks.”
