Three arrested for street altercation

A woman and two men were arrested by police after and an alleged disturbance in Curtiss Drive, Leavesden.

Police were called at 7.30am on December 10 to reports of a number of people involved in a physical altercation in the street.

It is believed that the offenders all knew each other. 

This resulted in the windows of a silver Volkswagen Golf being broken, as well as the glass panes in a nearby property’s front door.

It was reported that a machete was seen. Officers attended and three people were arrested in connection with the incident.

A 23-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.

A 49-year-old woman from Watford was arrested on suspicion of Section 4a public order. She has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

A 31-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, racially aggravated Section 4 public order and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
