THEATRE THRILLS: Arts centre in Pinner welcomes two exciting upcoming productions

Oh yes it is certainly pantomime season, as Harrow Arts Centre welcomes two exciting productions to the stage.

Dick Whittington is returning to the centre in what promises to be “the most purr-fect way to spend Christmas”.

The high-energy, action-packed adventure is bursting with magic, hilarious routines, water guns, and songs that will get audiences dancing.

Brought to the stage by Immersion Theatre, the play features Harry Simmonds as Dick Whittington, Ben J Packer as Timmy the Tom Cat, and Jaymes Sygrove as King Rat.

Artistic director James Tobias commented: “This year, we are raising the bar with the incorporation of digital scenery, taking the spectacle to the next level.”

In the new year, residents will still have lots of fun to look forward to as the UK theatre tour of There’s a Snake in my School is also coming to the arts centre.

Based on David Walliams’ number one bestseller, this new musical follows Miranda and her python Penelope on bring ynerour pet to school day.

David Walliams said: “I am thrilled that my funniest picture book is coming to the stage at last.”
