Tickets are now on sale for Pinner Players’ performance of The Crucible next month.
Taking place at Pinner Village Hall over three nights from November 14 to 16, Arthur Miller’s classic play explores the Salem witch trials that took place in America in 1692.
Miller, who is considered one of the greatest American playwrights of the 20th century, wrote the play during a time when the United States government persecuted people accused of being communists.
The play will be performed with the stage in the middle, helping the audience feel more connected with the show.
Pinner Players were founded in the heyday of amateur dramatics in Britain in 1936 and perform shows in February, May and November.
Their website states: “Our aim then, as it is now, was to perform plays of the highest quality for the local community at an affordable price.”
