The Northwood Safer Neighbourhood Team (NSNT) have thanked the public for their help during the pandemic.
In an update to ward members, NSNT said: “The team would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents and members of the public passing through the ward. The intelligence you provide to us is essential in us being able to proactively deal with and solve issues.
“Thank you for being forthcoming with information and we hope this continues in the future. The team continue to focus their priorities around the ward in relation to burglary motor-vehicle and antisocial behaviour crime.”
The Northwood team have maintained a positive police presence on the ward during lockdown, proactively patrolling in high visibility jackets.
They have also carried out multiple traffic operations at various locations on the ward with the assistance of street duties – a team of new police officers that have recently been recruited and deployed in the Hillingdon Borough.
The street duties team and Northwood team had good results recent traffic operations they conducted, with 10 tickets issued along with numerous warning letters.
