It was a successful evening for the Waterside Centre in Kings Langley on November 16, as their quiz night to raise money for a sensory interactive projection system proved a success.
Deputy Manager at the Waterside Centre, Elaine Precious, said: “I think everyone at the Waterside Centre would like to thank the local businesses and community for supporting us in our fundraising efforts.
“The quiz night and grand draw plus shop sales on the night raised a total of £1,323. We couldn’t have done it without you.
“We are now about halfway towards our total goal of £8,700 which we need to buy the sensory interactive projection system. Thank you everyone.”
The Waterside Centre raised £300 on ticket sales, £69 in a game of heads and tails during the quiz interval and donations, £39 on shop sales and an impressive £915 on the grand draw, which had a winning prize of £250 which was donated to by local businesses.
