A 14 year old boy appeared at St Albans Crown Court today (Friday) charged with attempted murder of 16 year old boy.
The charge relates to the alleged stabbing of a 16 year old boy in Verulamium Park, St Albans, on June 15 this year.
The teenager who comes from St Albans also faces charges of possession of a bladed article and actual bodily harm.
The charges were not put to the boy and it will be at a hearing in September when he will be required to enter his pleas to the charges.
He was remanded into youth detention to await his next court appearance
A 15 year old boy and a 16 year old boy, also from St Albans, were represented by their solicitors in court today.
They are charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm concerning the same incident.
All three are due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on November 19.
The 16 year old victim has been discharged from hospital since the incident and is recovering at home.
