A tattoo studio on Rickmansworth high street had a special customer last month, Olympic Team GB Bronze Medalist Amelie Morgan.
Renaissance Tattoo Studio has been based in the town centre for over 11-years and has had its fair share of celebrity clients over the years, from the Spice Girls Mel C to The X Factor’s Matt Cardle. However, owner Adie Kitachi said that 18-year-old British Gymnast Amelie was the coolest customer yet.
Adie told RickyNews: “Amelie brought her Olympic medal along which was amazing. She is a lovely young lady and a fantastic influence on young people. To have an Olympian come into the shop so soon after winning for Team GB was amazing.”
The 18-year-old gymnast celebrated her incredible success at the Tokyo Olympics with an Olympic ring tattoo, which was completed by artist Kris Farago.
Amelie, who lives in Slough, helped team GB’s women’s gymnastics team win their first medal in the event for 93-years at the Olympic Games last month with Alice Kinsella and Jennifer and Jessica Gadirova.
