Entertainer and singer KSI impressed in his debut as guest judge on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT).
KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams ‘JJ’ Olatunji, grew up in Watford and attended Stanborough Secondary School in Garston.
He rose to fame on YouTube and has since consolidated his popularity through boxing, singing, and launching the Prime energy drink brand.
BGT released a backstage video on YouTube, in which KSI said: “It’s quite surreal because obviously I’ve seen BGT for many years, so to be on this side is kind of weird.”
Bruno Tonioli is due to take over from KSI later in the series, as the recording of the auditions conflicted with the Italian dancer’s commitments to Dancing with the Stars.
Viewers took to X to praise the guest judge.
One user wrote: “How hilarious is KSI… can we keep him as a full-time judge!”
Another wrote: “Never heard of KSI before tonight but love him. He seems so genuine. The acts were great tonight too.”
