A dance fundraiser event in Amersham aims to boost support for Ukrainian refugees.
Neon Fuel Dance is organising a charity fundraising event where teens and adults can learn to dance in an easy-to-follow street dance lesson.
For the hour-long session, no prior dancing experience is required, and all funds raised will be donated to the Choose Love charity.
The charity provides refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving rescue boats to food and legal advice. They elevate the voices of refugees and galvanise public support for community organisations providing vital support along migration routes globally.
The fundraiser will take place on Thursday, March 17, at Amersham School, HP7 9HH from 7-8pm.
Thalia Charalambous, organiser of the event said: “People are more than welcome to go left when everyone else is going right. The main thing is to have fun and raise some money for the Ukrainian refugees.
“Watching the horrific events unfold in Ukraine, I felt totally helpless. So, I decided to put on a dance fundraisers for the refugee charity Choose Love.”
