SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Two arrested in connection with Watford business burglary

Two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary offence in Watford.

Suspicious activity was reported at premises in Clarendon Road at around 11.00pm on Friday, January 2. Police attended and arrested two men.

A 20-year-old man from Stanmore, Middlesex, and a 25-year-old man from Dunstable were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary. Both have been released on bail while the investigation continues.

Detective Constable Alex Humphreys said: “We were alerted to suspicious activity at the premises, and our unit was quickly on site to investigate. We need the community to be our eyes and ears and to report anything they think doesn’t look right, and we will get units out immediately to stop a suspected crime in progress.
