Chorleywood Community Choir is on the hunt for angelic voices across the village to join them.
Now in its fifth year, the choir is open to all music lovers across Chorleywood and beyond, whether you’re a seasoned singer or a first-timer.
Speaking to CHORLEYWOODnews, musical director Sarah Stroh said: “Did you know that joining a choir has many benefits for both mind and body? For starters, it’s a great way to meet new people and build friendships while working together to make beautiful music.
“The social vibe in Chorleywood Community Choir is relaxed and fun – there’s even a glass of wine and time to chat in the break! Singing is a huge mood booster; it helps reduce stress and can even make you feel happier thanks to the endorphins that get released when you sing with others. Plus, it’s a sneaky workout for your lungs and posture.”
Anyone interested is invited for a free taster. The group meet from 8pm to 9.30pm on Thursdays at St Andrew’s Church, Chorleywood. Find out more at www.chorleywoodcommunitychoir.co.uk
