A Croxley barbers is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, with customers and staff invited to a special party for the occasion.
Since 2002, Clare Lemon has run CJ Barbers, originally from a location in New Road before moving to its current spot at 2 Scotts Hill. Since then, the shop has become a fixture in the village, with many of its customers having gone there since opening day.
As well as providing haircuts, the team have also been heavily involved in raising money for local community charities, such as the Peace Hospice, Mount Vernon Hospital, Lister Hospital and Alice Arc.
Clare said: “Croxley has been an amazing place to have opened my business. The community support has been huge, and I am grateful for all the relationships I have built with customers over my 20 years of trade.
“I’ve also had a fantastic team throughout the years who I would like to thank for their work.”
Clare has also said that customers and staff are invited to join her in celebration of the 20th anniversary from 3pm to 6pm at the Sportsman pub on Sunday, December 4. There will also be a local band performing, the Four Horsemen.
