A school in Stanmore ended the first half term of the year on a high after performing their musical production of Little Shop of Horrors to sold-out audiences.
More than 50 students from Park High School were involved in the production, with roles ranging from dancers to set design to backstage support.
Laura Molloy, the school’s head of performing arts, said: “We are thrilled to have put on another amazing performance and are fortunate to work with such wonderful and able students.”
According to staff, songs such as Suddenly Seymour, Don’t Feed the Plants and the title song Little Shop of Horrors reverberated around the school hall long after final performance had finished.
Describing the play, Year 10 student Aisha Mehdi said: “The overall message to the audience is to be careful what you wish for; terrible consequences face those who get what they want rather than what they earn.”
A special well done goes to leads Keeya Patel, Bianca Curic, Luiza Galan and Oliver Randall.
