Like all libraries across the country, Bushey Library has been forced to temporarily close due to the coronavirus pandemic, but are still offering a variety of services online.

As well as this, Bushey Library have also extended the loan period on all items due back on or after March 16 by 56 days which applies to all stock, including items which are usually loaned for one week only.

Despite all buildings being closed, the services still available include eBooks and audiobooks with “a great range of titles for adults, teens and children.”

Newspapers and magazines are also available through their online magazine collection, as well as a referencing library to keep people’s brains active with online courses, reference books and homework resources.

A spokesperson for Bushey Library said: “The best way to keep up to date with what is happening with our local library here in Bushey is to follow @BusheyLibrary on Facebook. We have all sorts of ideas and activities you can join in with, including reading suggestions and our Virtual Lego Club.

“We are following the government health advice and would like to reassure everyone that we will be open again as soon as it is safe for us to do so.”
