A 32-year-old man has been fined after stealing fuel and food from a Rickmansworth service station multiple times over a fifteen-day period.

Josh Cattemull, of Penn Road, Hazelmere, Buckinghamshire, recently pled guilty to several accounts of theft at Reading Magistrates Court on July 23.

He took fuel without paying from the BP garage on Uxbridge Road, Mill End on March 23, May 2, May 11 and May 17 last year.

He also admitted to stealing various products, including a soft drink, pastries, juice, a sandwich and crisps from the garage’s shop on the dates of May 8, 10 and 17, also last year.

The court additionally found that Cattemull had failed to surrender to St Albans Magistrates Court on September 9, 2021, after having previously been released on bail.

At the July hearing, he was fined £293 by the court and also received orders to pay £60 back for the fuel and £20 back for the goods he stole.

Cattemull will now also have to pay a surcharge funding victims’ services of £117 and £85 in costs, bringing the total amount he will have to pay up to £575 as a result of his crimes.
