Stevie wants to know Do you like what you see?

Published on: 1st October 2018   |   By: Tim Green   |   Category: Uncategorized

A singer from Chipperfield has released his debut album.

Stevie Hammond, 40, normally plys his trade singing covers at weddings and corporate events and in a covers band.

In the past he has also sung backing vocals for some of the country’s most famous names in music including Alexandra Burke.

Over 12 years ago however, he wrote an album, Do you like what you see? and that is now available for download on iTunes and other music sharing platforms for the princely sum of just £1.

Stevie told KingsNews why there was such a long gap between the album being written and it being released.

He said: “I didn’t think it was good enough. I’ve reproduced all the songs and I think they have a lot of potential .”

Stevie, a self-confessed cheeky chappy, said Do you like what you see? has something for everybody.  The album has been on release for six weeks.

He said: “It’s pop rock with a bit of a Robbie feel to it and some nice love songs. I normally spend my time travelling around the world but I’m now trying to get my own stuff heard. It will be nice to get the songs recognised and get a deal. Writing is great but it costs a lot of money to make the album

Do you like what you see? is available now

You can follow Stevie on iTunes, Spotify and he is also on Facebook and Instagram.
