Herts Police have confirmed a 15-year-old boy from St Albans has been arrested in connection to a rape which took place on Good Friday (April 19).
The incident took place in Alban Way and following a CCTV appeal, Herts Police arrested the boy on suspicion of rape on July 2.
He has since been released on police bail.
The Constabulary’s Sexual Offences Investigation Team (SOIT) continues to carry out enquiries at this time.
