SQUAD ASSEMBLED: Bushey Rangers’ manager hoping for positive season upon county league return

Published on: 12th October 2020   |   By: Geraint Roberts   |   Category: Uncategorized

Bushey Rangers have made a return to the Herts Senior County leagues this season and are looking ahead to developing the club further, with manager Dean Lenihan at the helm for the Saturday team.

Dean has a strong background in non-league football and has previously been assistant manager at Northwood, a coach at Hendon and a scout at Brentford, but now hopes he can be an integral part of Bushey Rangers’ development.

He said: “This season we’re hoping to just get our feet under the ground and get used to the everything, but I definitely have ambitions to do well this season.

“We’ve gone down the trial route and I’ve used my contacts in non-league football to get players in, and hopefully we can achieve good things.

“I missed being involved in football while I took a few years away from it, but when the chairman spoke to me about Bushey Rangers it felt like a good fit and I hope to help the progress to where they want to be in the next few years.”

The club have also announced recently that BusheyNews will be the main sponsor for the club’s matchday programme, however there are still opportunities for other businesses to get involved.
