Residents have rallied together to ensure those walking to Rickmansworth town centre have a clean, bright and pleasant journey.
The Ebury Underpass had been looking sad and neglected for some time, with colourful new posters recently installed only serving to make the contrast appear more stark. The underpass is used by many people travelling to and from the town centre and the Aquadrome, and stands as a strong reflection of the town itself.
Hilary, Rose, Pam, Rose and Jeanette grouped together to spruce up the underpass on Friday, June 6. They swept up any debris and litter, cleaned the tiles, and removed weeds and moss.
There is still more work to be done and the group is inviting more people to join them during their next session at the underpass from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, July 19. Please bring your own equipment if you can, e.g. gloves, broom, dustpan and brush, cloths, etc. All are welcome.
