A Tring charity shop recently featured in an episode of a paranormal investigation show.
The episode of BBC Two’s Uncanny featuring Emmaus Hertfordshire’s Tring store was aired on Friday, February 7.
Exploring the case of the charity shop poltergeist, the episode saw host Danny Robins and his team of experts delve into an account of a woman who believes the charity shop she works in is haunted.
Emmaus customers should not be concerned, however, as the Tring shop is not the one affected; the production team only used the shop as a set for the episode.
Shop manager Emily said: “The BBC needed to film in a charity shop and approached us in January to see if this was possible. We were delighted to help!
“Danny the presenter interviews a woman who worked in a charity shop that she said was haunted by a poltergeist. I don’t think they were able to film in the actual shop so needed a substitute, which is where we stepped in.
“I’d like to reassure our customers that our shop isn’t haunted and it’s very safe to enter!”
