Last Wednesday (July 7) pupils at Reddiford School in Pinner were delighted to welcome back a very successful and famous past pupil.
KSI, whose full name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, is a world-famous rapper, singer and boxer with a staggering 34 million YouTube subscribers. In 2019, the Watford born star was ranked second by The Sunday Times list of top 100 UK influencers.
After excited students gave the hit-maker a warm welcome to the classroom, he sat down with Year 4 for a special question and answer session about his music, career and time at Reddiford School. Many of the teachers remembered teaching KSI and were able to reminisce about his happy and successful time at the school.
Mrs Batt, Head Teacher, said: “The pupils and staff had a wonderful time meeting such a famous alumni! He was charming and inspirational and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed his visit.”
All COVID protocols were adhered to, following government guidelines.
KSI has achieved seven UK top 10 singles, five of these charting in 2021 alone. His debut album Dissimulation was the biggest album from a breakthrough artist in 2020 and his second album All Over The Place is set to be released on July 16.
