A teen from Bushey is set to release a positive mental health single this month after going through her own mental health journey.
Hannah Sugars, 18, will release her single Song For You on December 5 for anyone else going through a similar journey, to serve as a reminder that although you can be rendered a victim time and time again, you can and will persevere.
Speaking about why she decided to release the single, Hannah said: “My journey is non-linear but I am shamelessly, wholeheartedly committed to recovery every day of my life. I am reframing my narrative, reclaiming my life.
“Song For You speaks to other adolescents enduring/undergoing health restoration, in the hope that they will persist in the pursuit, with in the mind the promise of light at the end of the tunnel.”
A large percentage of the proceeds from the single will go to charity BEAT: The UK’s Eating Disorder Charity.
Song For You will be available on iTunes and Spotify.
