A cancer survivor from Watford has raised thousands of pounds for charity, thanks to a music event featuring local DJs.
Tino Alcorano held the Old Skool Club Reunion on Saturday, July 6, a one-off charity night at Canvas nightclub that brought together old-school DJs from Watford for one night only.
The event raised nearly £3,000 for the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, a medical charity which provides CT, MRI, and PET-CT scans used to diagnose cancer and other serious conditions.
More than 400 people attended and the event received support from many high-profile figures, including professional boxer Anthony Joshua OBE, Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor, and musician MC Sharky P.
Tino told WATFORDnews: “It was a great night and thanks to everyone who gave their time up, all the DJs, to the guys who turned up to show their support, and to the venue.”
