SHUTTING DOWN: Cineworld cinemas to close due to COVID-19

Hemel Hempstead, Watford and South Ruislip Cineworld cinemas are closing due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Cineworld released a statement saying they are shutting all movie theatres across the UK starting from March 18, until further notice.

A spokesperson from the cinema said: “We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our employees and guests. 

We deeply value our movie-loving customers and their health and wellbeing is our number one priority during this difficult time.

“We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible to enjoy a full slate of film releases. We sincerely wish good health for you and your families during these uncertain times.”

This is a precautionary measure took to protect Cineworld’s customers and staff in line, following the government and health authority guidelines.

If you booked online, all bookings will be automatically refunded. If you booked tickets in a cinema, you will need to ring their call centre on 033 0333 4444.
