A pub in Sarratt who asked the public’s help to name it’s refurbished tractor has been revealed.
The Cricketers Pub on The Green recently finished restoring a Ford 8N tractor in their pub garden and decided it needed naming.
The pub set up a competition on their Facebook page for pub goers to win a meal on them. All people had to do was comment your tractor name, like and share to be in with the chance of winning.
The winner was Grace Williams who named the tractor Sam after her uncle who passed away this year and was a big lover of all things tractors.
Pub manager, Simon, said: “We recently had the pub refurbished and all of our pubs under the Brunning & Price brand have a tractor in their gardens.
“We decided to give it a fresh lick of paint and return it to its former glory – the staff have given it some good love, care and attention.
“It’s been nice to interact with the community.”
