The date for the MyLocalHero 2022 Awards has been changed to November 12, 2022 – a week earlier than initially planned.
Since its inception in 2009, the awards, held at the prestigious Grove Hotel in Watford, have celebrated heroes who have played an integral part in the community.
In the past, we have honoured people from all over our news areas whose dedication in making their communities better for everyone we feel is deserving of commendation.
Never has this been more important than now, after witnessing people from across our 17 magazines step up in the face of uncertainty throughout the pandemic.
The awards are a way to bring the community together to witness these unsung heroes and give back to the community, a core value which is so important here at MyLocalNews.
Over the years individuals have been recognised for their outstanding bravery, commitment to their community, sporting achievements and so much more, whilst raising more than £100,000 for charity since its commencement 13 years ago.
