The Rotary Club of Hemel Hempstead is running its Santa Sleigh event for the ninth year.
Starting this year’s event in Abbot Langley on Sunday, December 1, the Santa Sleigh visits several local areas and raises money for local causes.
The sleigh will return to Abbots Langley at 5.30pm on Monday, December 23. The event starts in the Manor House car park, passing through Broomfield Rise, High Acres, Upper Highway, The Garth, Fay Green, The Graylings, The Fairway, and Popes Road, ending on Trowley Rise.
The sleigh will also make frequent stops for residents to take pictures with Santa.
Last year, the Santa Sleigh raised £17,500 to donate back to the local community. Donations of £350 were made to each of the club’s collector organisations, followed by further donations to 25 other local groups and organisations in April.
