SAINTS BEAT KINGS: St Albans City into Herts Senior Cup final after beating Kings Langley

Published on: 10th March 2020   |   By: Geraint Roberts   |   Category: Kings Langley F.C

St Albans City beat Kings Langley comfortably on Tuesday night (March 10) to book their place in the Hertfordshire Senior Cup final.

The Saints will face Hemel Town in the final, which is scheduled to take place on March 24.

Rohdell Gordon scored the opener in the 37th minute from the penalty spot.

The Saints put the game beyond reasonable doubt on the 69th minute, this time Munashe Sundire the man who got the goal from around 20-yards out.

St Albans City still fight themselves in a competitive relegation fight in the National League South, but will be able to put that aside when they meet Hemel Town in the final later this month.

Whilst Kings will be disappointed to be out of the competition, their focus can now completely be on reaching the play-offs in their respective league.
