Former Watford FC midfielder Dennis Bond, who made 301 appearances for the club, has sadly died aged aged 77.
Bond made over 100 appearances for the Hornets before making the switch to Spurs in 1967, in what was then a record sale for the club of £30,000. He went on to make 27 appearances for Tottenham, scoring once.
After moving to Charlton Athletic, the talented midfielder returned to Watford in 1972, a club he scored 42 goals for across two stints. He left the club for a second time in 1977.
He continued his playing career until age 55, finishing his playing days in non-league with Waltham Abbey and Potters Bar Town, going on to have spells in the dugout at both clubs.
