SAATCHI GALLERY: Gerrards Cross artist’s punk-inspired work to headline famous gallery

A Gerrards Cross artist who creates punk-inspired paintings will headline the Saatchi Gallery next month.

Mark Sloper, better known as Mark Illuminati, who featured in the July edition of  CHALFONTS&GERRARDSCROSSnews, will be showcasing his artwork emblazoned with vintage memorabilia, neon signs and song lyrics at the StART Art Fair from October 12-16.

The 9th edition of the fair will once again take place at London’s Saatchi Gallery, and will feature work from both emerging and established artists from around the world.

Speaking about his “biggest ever” show, Mark said: “I have a massive gallery to exhibit more than 70 works. I’m being sponsored by Samsung and all the latest audio-visual technology will be implemented to enhance my immersive punk art show, in 1977 i wanna go to heaven. I’m so excited. It will be my statement to the world.”
