Police and fire crews are at the scene of a roof collapse in Hemel Hempstead.
The alarm was raised at around 12.30pm today, Wednesday June 23, following an incident in Alexandra Road in the town.
It was reported that there had been a loud explosion followed by the collapse of the roof of a property in the road.
Officers are currently on scene, alongside colleagues from the fire service, to establish the circumstances around the incident.
Neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precaution and road closures are in place.
No one is reported to have been injured at this time and everyone has been accounted for.
