Former Aldenham School student Myles Lewis-Skelly has become one of the latest young stars to break into Arsenal’s first team, with appearances in the Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup this season.
Despite being so early on in his career, Lewis-Skelly has already been thrown into some of the biggest contests in the Gunners’ season.
Aged just 18, Lewis-Skelly made his first appearance at senior level for Arsenal on Sunday, September 22. He came on at the end of a tense 2-2 draw with Manchester City – perhaps the biggest contest in English football at the time.
Just days later, on Wednesday, September 25, it was Lewis-Skelly’s chance to earn his first start, winning 5-1 at the Emirates against Bolton in the Carabao Cup.
Lewis-Skelly, who attended Aldenham School between 2018 and 2023, also became the first pupil from the school to play in the Champions League, according to a post on their Facebook page.
He came on as a substitute in the 49th minute against PSG in a 2-0 win for Arsenal on Tuesday, October 1.
