A man was fined £810 after he watched a woman use the restroom at a Watford train station for his own sexual pleasure.
According to the British Transport Police, the incident took place at Watford Junction on February 21, 2020, and involved a man following a woman into the restroom without her permission.
Vladmir Vuiv, 28, of Finchley Road, London, denied the accusation but was later found guilty.
On September 26, 2022, Vuiv appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court for sentencing. He was given an £810 fine and required to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He was ordered to pay £100 in compensation, £90 victim surcharge and costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He is also required to register with the police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
