Chorleywood Parish Council (CPC) relaunched its drop-in surgeries offering residents a chance to have their say. These informal sessions provide an opportunity to meet parish councillors face to face, share thoughts or comments.
No appointment is needed; CPC ensures two councillors will be at each session. The service launches on a trial basis, with three sessions scheduled in January, February, and March at Chorleywood Library.
The first session was on Saturday, January 17. Upcoming sessions are Thursday, February 19, from 2pm to 3pm and Saturday, March 21, from 11am to 12pm.
CPC said: “You said, we listened. Following feedback from the recent Residents Survey, we’re reinstating councillor surgeries on a trial basis. It’s a chance to share your thoughts, ideas, or concerns directly.”
“We’re alternating days and times to make it easier for people to attend. After the three-month trial, we’ll review demand and decide whether to continue monthly. Councillors remain contactable by email and phone.”
