RESIDENTIAL BREAK-INS: Police investigate multiple burglaries in Chorleywood and Rickmansworth

A police investigation is ongoing after a late-night burglary at a home in Chorleywood. The break-in occurred on Homefield Road at around 11.50pm on Sunday, January 4.

The victims were home and reportedly heard a strange noise upstairs. Upon investigating, a window was open, lights switched on, and a wardrobe door had been opened.

The victims conducted a thorough search and confirmed no items appear to have been taken. Police are appealing for further information from the public. Reports can be made by calling 101, quoting crime reference 41/1293/26.

Over the weekend of January 10 and 11, another attempted burglary took place on Chorleywood Road in Rickmansworth.

An upstairs window was found with a damaged handle and broken glass. It is unsure if entry was gained as nothing has been reported taken.
