Expectant mothers across Bushey can join a free social group designed to provide friendship, support and advice during pregnancy.
Hello Baby holds meetings in Barracuda, Bushey, and offers a relaxed space for mums-to-be to connect and share experiences.
Sessions include conversations over tea and biscuits, guest talks from midwives, and walk and talks in parks.
Organisers Hannah Simmons, a registered midwife, and Chloe Lewis, a hypnobirthing practitioner, met in 2019 via Facebook when Chloe was expecting.
Six years later, they have created the wholesome group to help others like them.
Hannah said: “What’s lovely is we’ve had women come to the pregnancy club and announce they’re pregnant from the first 12 weeks, right up to women due in a few days.”
The meet-ups are open to anyone at any stage of pregnancy, and no booking is required.
Chloe added: “We’re out all year round. You need a lot of support, community and safe spaces when you’re post-natal. The support is really important.”
