Following a major refurbishment, Gerrards Cross Bookshop is set to have a grand reopening, with a special appearance from comedian and children’s book author David Walliams OBE.
The reopening is set to take place from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, June 17. The event will also celebrate Independent Bookshop Week, which runs from June 17 to 24, and the release of David’s newest book, Robodog.
Sheryl Shurville, co-owner of the bookshop, said: “Over the past month, we have been refurbishing Gerrards Cross Bookshop to enhance the shopping experience for customers and give it a more contemporary look.
“We are delighted David Walliams OBE will be joining us to celebrate our reopening by signing copies of his latest book, Robodog.”
Only those with tickets to the event will be able to meet David and get a signed copy of Robodog. To find out more about the event and the bookshop, visit their website.
