A Chalfont St Peter business owner is raising awareness about the importance of regulating businesses which care for beloved pets.
Former veterinary practice manager Natasha had first-hand experience of the negative treatment dogs can experience.
After her cocker spaniel had a bad experience, she decided to teach herself how to correctly and safely pamper her dog. She now runs grooming salon Spoilt Rotten in Chalfont St Peter, which recently celebrated its ninth anniversary.
Talking to CHALFONTS&GERRARDSCROSSnews, Natasha shared: “People should be aware about how others are handling their pets.
“Imagine if a childcare was unregulated. Business should be able to demonstrate they are minimising any risk, such as skin irritation.”
Going on to specialise in nervous and aggressive dogs, Natasha has also been training other groomers the best practice in looking after pets.
She said: “We understand dogs and have cameras to keep everyone’s peace of mind. It’s time that the industry should be regulated.”
