The Radlett Horticultural Society’s (RHS) annual Autumn Show is set to take place this month, with all villagers, both experienced and beginners, encouraged to take part.
A large variety of floral displays, vegetable produce, baked goods, art and other items will be on display at Vision Hall, Christ Church, Radlett, on Saturday, September 2, as residents compete in a variety of categories.
The society has announced the return of several popular classes, including heaviest tomato, heaviest potato, heaviest onion, longest edible bean, and longest cucumber.
There will also be new categories for growing chillies and growing foliage, as well as for the heaviest sunflower head.
Entries to the show must be submitted by 7pm on Thursday, August 31.
The show will open to the general public at 3pm, with prizegiving set to take place at 5pm.
